Led hackathon project to analyze and test security features of digital train passes. Project included use of network capture tools (proxy server) to reverse engineer Metra digital authenticity markers within HTTPS. Team project recorded authentic app interface and recreated each asset. Team then created Android app to present emulated Metra ticket.
Created a time management website for students transitioning to “Block” Schedule. Served as the sole developer who conceived, researched, planned, developed, and maintained responsive mobile website used by ~ 3,000 users. Developed a Chrome Extension offering users a convenient browser interface to manage times and schedules.
Originally developed as a 24-hour hackathon submission, this AI application provided chatbot automated responses based on keyword recognition. Originally written in JavaScript, AMANDA (Automated Mainframe and Networked Database Administration) AI generated responses from a dataset. Later upgraded to PHP and MYSQL and helped a for-profit corporation implement it as a web-based self-service tool.
Created mobile app to empower Emergency Medical Services (EMS) care providers with the latest information about hospital care levels, direct-line phone numbers, and private Emergency Room hospital entrance access codes.
Retained by educational foundation to create new website to replace existing outdated site. Requirements included developing website created with a customized content management system (WordPress) for ease of management. Transferred content and media from former website into new platform. Collaborated with Foundation staff to create a donation function.
